YMCA Casey moves through as a finalist in Casey Cardinia Business Awards

YMCA Casey has been announced as a finalist in the Health, Education and Wellbeing category for the Casey Cardinia Business Awards 2017.

Recognised for their contribution in the City of Casey and helping the community lead a healthy and happy life through physical activity, competition judges agreed that the organisation deserved celebration and recognition.

YMCA Casey Area Manager, Barry Harrison expressed the rewarding feeling of ‘helping people achieve their health and fitness goals at our centres across the region.’

YMCA Casey has been an integral part of the City of Casey for the past 19 years. On behalf of the City of Casey, the organisation manages six leisure facilities including Casey RACE, Casey ARC, Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre, Berwick Leisure Centre, Casey Stadium and Doveton Pool. The not-for-profit offers a range of services and programs, specialising in gymnastics, swimming lessons, childcare, stadium sports and health clubs.

“Our aim is to provide a healthy body, healthy mind and healthy spirit,” said Mr Harrison. “Our programs and services cater to a range of community members. At the Y, we have something for everyone.”
